General Incorporated Association GOOD SEA, supported by The Nippon Foundation, conducted a quantitative study across six Japanese sea areas from Oct 2024 to Jul 2025, demonstrating for the first time that seaweed aquaculture expands ecosystems by increasing biomass and species diversity.
